We are Spirit made flesh and our physical health and wellbeing is intertwined with our spiritual journey. Every pain is telling us something, but it can be hard to understand the message. Medical Intuition is a way of looking at our total body wellness from a spiritual perspective to bring healing and balance.
In this training, specifically designed for practitioners already trained as readers and healers, we will explore:
- The connections between chakra imbalance and specific types of illness.

- How your past is written in your chakras and your anatomy.
- How to clear and balance your chakras after energy work.
- How to connect with your client’s physical body.
- Ways to get a deeper connection during readings and energy work.
- Protecting yourself.
- Tracing the roots of illness and discovering where the energetic weakness began.
- How to tune your intuitive abilities to your own body to maintain your physical and energetic health.
- It is easy to become imbalanced when working on an energetic level and too often we neglect to care for ourselves in the way we care for others.
I am not a doctor or medical professional and will not be teaching you how to diagnose or treat illness. In my readings I offer direction and guidance helping people find the specialist and treatments that are right for them. In this class we will explore strategies to guide people to healthy and productive treatments and therapies. We will also talk about how we can move beyond our own fears and prejudices to make ourselves healthier and more balanced. I may not know how to adjust a spine, but I know when a client needs to see a chiropractor, a medical practitioner or doctor.
This workshop is designed to help you develop and hone your natural intuitive abilities toward medical intuition.
Handouts and other materials will be provided, students should wear comfortable clothes, bring writing materials and be ready for an experiential day.
This is a two part class. Part 1 is on Friday, August 23 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Part 2 is on Saturday, August 24 from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
This class is limited to 20 students.
About John Michael Thorton
John Michael Thornton is a psychic and medical intuitive with over thirty years experience honing his natural abilities. John’s parents met through a spiritual non-profit giving him a unique perspective on the importance of a strong spiritual community.
An engaging and vibrant teacher, John has taught at the Association for Research and Enlightenment, Victory of Light, Lily Dale Assembly, and spiritual groups across the Northeast.
After receiving his BA in Religious Studies, John worked at a spiritually based non-profit in Virginia before moving to New York to work in state government. Upon returning Ohio he refocused his career on spiritual work as a yoga instructor and psychic.
Beyond teaching in person, John has produced numerous guided meditation CDs, books and articles.
