Spring Equinox-A Hatha/Tantra Yoga & Embodied Meditation Experience

The Spring Equinox marks a balance of light and dark, as Mother Earth naturally establishes equilibrium between both and night, a time when the energies of the Earth are of perfect harmonious balance. Soon the days will become longer as we transition into the lightest phase of the year. It is a time for gradually shedding the heavy, dark element of winter and moving towards the element of light. Just as winter is a time for restoration, reflection, stillness and hibernation, the vibrant rhythm of Spring invites renewal, rebirth, activity and new beginnings-awakening our inner selves out of dormancy. Like a seed emerging from the deep sleep of winter soil, we too can harness the energy of the Spring Equinox by embracing the energy of renewal and growth. Mirroring the wisdom of the planet, spring is a time to consider where we are heading and plant seeds for intention, a time to put in place new visions, creative projects and ideas. A powerful time to nurture our dreams/visions and bloom into potential, the best versions of ourselves.

What to expect….

Join us for a beautiful candlelit Hatha/Tantra Yoga and Embodied Meditation Experience, where we will embody and embrace the seasonal and spiritual transitions of Spring. We will detach from the mind through the use of balancing pranayama and a gentle, beginner level yoga practice. Finally we will settle into a nourishing guided meditation, supported by the vibrational frequencies of flower essences.

No prior yoga experience necessary; Ages 14+ welcome!

** Feel feel to bring a journal, yoga mat and whatever else will aid in your comfort for sitting on the floor. Yoga mats, blocks and blankets will be also be available for you to use. Please arrive 10-15 mins before starting time to allow ample time for you to get checked in and settled so we can begin promptly at 1pm!
