Sacred Dance; A Journey through the Chakras

In Ancient Times, dance was always considered an integral part of religious rituals and ceremonies expressed in cultures all over the world. Dances were performed to celebrate the seasons, ward off evil spirits, mark the cycle of life and commune with the Divine. Sacred Dance is a spiritual path that connects us to the Divine Feminine Energy that resides inside each of us. Through the movement into the Divine, we can open the chakras, purify our bodies and minds and awaken our Shakti Energy. Sacred Dance allows us to move beyond the mind, by surrendering to our own natural rhythms to reveal our inner truth by movements of our bodies.

What to Expect…

Join us as we bring our awareness inward, as we journey into our seven main energy centers or chakras through the use of Sacred Dance. Utilizing mindful movements and non-choreographed dance to enhance our connection to each energy center, while also connecting to our own rhythmic pulse and free moving bodies. By dancing consciously, we are able to release tension in the body, create more ease and flow, awaken our chakras, shift stagnant energy out of our bodies, reunite mind, body and soul and embody the Divine all while having fun.

**In honor of Halloween and the spirit of playfulness, we invite you to come dressed in costume, a dress or a long skirt, or clothing appropriate for dancing that empowers your Divine Feminine Energy. All ages welcome and no prior dance experience is necessary.**
